Brittany:  The Mystery of The Chocolate Chip Pancakes

For some mystery with your meal, try a triple layer of chocolate chips, with chips popping -out of the pancake.  Our heavenly chocolate chip pancakes have three layers of chocolate chips, on bottom, in the middel, and an extended layer if requested on top.  The pancakes themselves are fluffy, and bring joy to the faces of the customers.  The average number of pancakes per meal is two.  These mighty pancakes are the size of the plate,

The pancakes will feel fluffy, and joyful, in your mouth.  To balance out the fluffiness, you should include either hot fresh sausage, or crispy, sizzling bacon to the meal,

A new recommendation for THE ROOST has been published on Eventective!

I attended a wedding at THE ROOST last August.  Do not judge this venue by the outside!  The interior is very rustic with lots of wood, and a balcony going all the way around a dance floor that can also double as an area for more tables.   In our case, we had the tables all around the dance floor, and everyone was able to focus on the bride's dance with her father, as well as the rest of the dancing that took place.  I forgot who the DJ was, but it was easy for him to set up and sounded great.  All in all, I'd recommend THE ROOST to anyone that just wanted to have a great time with family friends for an event like a wedding reception.  It's a very versatile hall, and the catering is done on-site.

Recommendation:  After taking too long to locate a space for our annual banquet, we began to panic.  Eventective found a nearby but relatively unknown spot for us in South Portland called "Events on Broadway".  Our initial meeting with the owner was favorable, and we were impressed at their willingness to craft a menu that fit our budget rather than giving us a list of food options.  On the night of the event, everything went perfectly! The meal was on time, the food was excellent, and the service was superb.  We would highly recommend Events on Broadway based upon our experience!
